There are many natural wonders close to Pele Lani.
Kilauea Volcano is Pele's domain and the most active volcano on the planet. The Pele energy is intense and many people are sensitive to it, feeling the vibrations, having visions or experience other phenomenon.

The Champagne Hot Ponds are throughout the Kapoho area. These geothermal ponds are created by rain water filtering through lava rock and cinder. Then it is warmed by the volcano as flows to the ocean. Some ponds are a mix of fresh and salt water and sustain a variety of sea life. This water is wonderful to swim in and many say it has a theraputic effect.

Along the ocean in this same area of Kapoho are the Waiopae tidepools.
